Most houses round here were sited for a reason — the harbour, the hills, the light coming over the Port Hills at about four in the afternoon. Then the glass goes off slowly enough that nobody notices, and the reason quietly stops working.
We do glass, frames, sills and tracks, inside and out, and we take the flyscreens off rather than pretending they aren't there. Deionised water on the outside, so it dries without spotting. No ladders on your roof, no wet mess on the carpet, and we're gone in a morning.
What we clean
Priced by the pane, not by the hour.
Houses
Every pane, both sides, plus frames, sills and tracks. Screens come off and go back on.
Outside only
The half that actually gets dirty. Good between full cleans, and no need for anyone to be home.
Sliders & big glass
Ranchsliders, bifolds and full-height panels. Tracks get vacuumed out before anything gets wet.
Conservatories & roof glass
Overhead glass, sunrooms and lantern roofs. Quoted on site — every one of these is different.
Solar panels
Dust on a panel is lost power. Rinsed with deionised water only — nothing abrasive, nothing that voids anything.

The nor'wester
It comes over the Alps dry and lands here carrying half the Canterbury Plains. That fine brown film on the western side of the house is topsoil, and it sets hard the first time it rains.
Salt off the harbour
Anywhere from Lyttelton round to Sumner picks up spray. Salt attracts water, so a salted window smears every time the air gets damp — which is why it looks worse a week after a clean than the day after.
Spring pollen
September and October, off the pines and the birches. It's sticky, it bonds to glass in the sun, and a hose does almost nothing to it.
